Very good Bible Study reading. Very enjpyable
I have just gotten my kindle version of this book and after reading the first few chapters I would give it ten stars! This author is very gifted in conveying with such clarity God's personal relationship, fellowship with us and ours with Him. He is our modern day Andrew Murray!
A great book! The basics are shared with such clearness. Wish I had been able to read this as a teenager trying to maneuver the waters of theology and how it applies to everyday life. He points out that it's not theory, but reality, that matters. Our reality is in Christ. I also appreciate that he made the book available at no cost on . I look forward to reading the other two books in the series.
This is my third time reading this book (and series). I'm amazed there aren't more reviews. This has the life of God in every chapter. It breaks down what worship looks like. It compels you to seek God with all your heart. I'm so grateful for the author writing this book.
A truly amazing and inspirational book that helps you in your walk with faith. I liked the fact that each chapter was accompanied by scriptures from the Bible to refer the reader to help in thier BIBLE studies. A way to start a devotional prayer journey with the Lord. This book gives questions at the end of each session which allows the reader to think and examine your own feelings .
Very well written and thought provoking. Sometimes the author is a bit repetitive, but I believe the purpose is to try to get us to understand the truth and reality of being One with Christ. Unless you've actually experienced being united with the Lord, it's a very difficult to try to relate in words, but I believe this author has put forth fantastic effort in trying to do just that. Many people know ABOUT Christ, the history of His existence on Earth and His ministries, but not many know Him personally, like we know our spouses, siblings or children in the HERE and NOW. The Scriptures tell us that we CAN know Him here and now and for many, it's too difficult to understand this spiritual mystery. I would definitely recommend to anyone who is wants to comprehend this spiritual miracle.
I have come to be skeptical of ebooks as resources; I was proven wrong in this case. This book, and I hope the whole series, is an excellent source of information and learning on the Truth and Reality of Christ and how we can obtain that truth as our inheritance. There were some moments while reading that I had to stop and re-read portions because, though I had heard it before, it felt very new in the way it was presented and as such, left me feeling like I gained an entire class worth of information. This book gave me a lot to ponder and pray about, I am very happy that I own the book and can look back at it anytime I wish.
I was particularly impressed with the portion of the study that deals with the difference between reality and philosophy, it was very eye-opening.
